Manufactured and installed to strict NZ and international standards our HotFence electric security fencing is most commonly installed as a 20 wire electrified screen on the non-public side of a Chainlink fence or atop the fence with the first electrified wire above 1800mm from ground level. HotFence delivers a non–lethal short pulse of up to 3.8 Joules / 12,000 V which will not only shock an intruder, but also trigger a stand-alone alarm or your existing site security systems (if integrated).

Innovative ‘Breakaway Insulator’ technology
HotFence is the only electric fencing solution on the market to offer a true ‘Breakaway Insulator’ that ensures the system alarm will trigger at the first instance of an attempted intrusion.
HotFence insulators are specifically designed to easily ‘breakaway’ from their contact point of the fence post, which ensures the HotFence wire will make contact with itself, shorting and triggering the system alarm. HotFence has taken an area of the fence that intruders would typically use as a leverage point, and turned it against them, making them easier & faster to detect.
Contour Posts - Purpose designed for HotFence
All HotFence electric security systems feature purpose designed Contour Posts which have a unique post hugging contour shape.
This unique contour shape ensures HotFence Posts better integrate with existing fence to deliver greater overall system integration and strength. Pre-galv custom manufactured, Contour Posts are easy to install thanks to pre-drilled Tek-screw holes.
